Journal

Game

Journal is a sketchily drawn adventure game currently in development. It is a 2D platform/adventure hybrid video game that will be released initially for Windows and XBOX Indie Games.

It tells the story of a girl searching for the missing pages from her journal, and in doing so she must relive memories of childhood sadness and regret.

Features

  • Explore a melancholy world themed around the sadder aspects of being child.
  • Unravel a series of mysteries episodes in a young girl's life as she tries to recover her lost journal entries.
  • Interact with an animated sketchbook environment where you can change the world yourself to help you progress.
  • Talk with a huge cast of characters, getting to know the people in the young girl's life.
  • Choose how to deal with the challenges in your own way, with your choices affecting the girl's relationships with people around her and the game's conclusion.
  • Enjoy a haunting classical piano soundtrack.

Release

The game currently has no fixed release date but we'd estimate very early 2010.

For now you can follow progress from the development blog on the front page of the site.
